CONDITIONS OF HIRE

  1. The standard hire period is 1 hour slots. You must vacate the Hub as soon as your slot has finished
  2. No refunds will be made on bookings. Should you wish to cancel your booking, please get in touch and you will be able to arrange an alternative date and time or cancel the booking.

  4. For access, please use the key safe (by the side door in the car park). The code will be included in your confirmation email.
  5. Hirers to bring their own cleaning materials, e.g. tea towels, washing up liquid, waste bags etc.
  6. Hirers are responsible for ensuring the Hub is left in a clean and tidy condition. A vacuum cleaner is provided for your use. Failure to do so may incur additional charges to cover cleaning costs.
  7. Hirers are responsible for removing any rubbish and waste.
  8. Hirers occupying the Hub will be responsible for any damage which may be caused during the time of their occupation.

  10. Any key holder or representative of RMG shall be admitted into the Hub at any time during the hire period.
  11. The hirer will be responsible for taking down any decorations. No tacks, nails or fasteners are to be driven into the floor, walls or any other part of the building.
  12. The hirer shall be responsible for leaving the Hub in the condition it was found and must remove any articles not belonging to the Hub at the end of the hire period.
  13. No person in a state of intoxication shall be allowed to remain in the Hub and should be removed by the hirer immediately.
  14. RMG accepts no liability whatsoever for loss, theft, damage or injury sustained whilst in the Hub or car park.
  15. No alcohol is to be consumed in the vicinity of the Hub.
  16. All bookings and enquiries to be made through the RMG Booking Portal.
  17. In line with current legislation there must be no smoking in the Hub.
  18. No dogs, apart from assistance dogs, may be admitted.
  19. Hirers are responsible for ensuring any fire / emergency exits are kept free from obstructions.
  20. RMG reserves the right to cancel any booking which they deem unsuitable, unlawful or if the Hub is required for use as a polling station during elections.
  21. Hirers shall ensure noise levels are kept to a minimum in order to avoid disturbance to nearby residents. All fire / emergency exits must be kept closed except in an emergency.
  22. Hirers must return the keys to the key safe. If the keys are not returned as soon as the hire period is over then the hirer will be liable for any charges incurred, which may include the replacement of any relevant locks.
  23. Bouncy Castles are not permitted in the Hub

FIRE RISK – HEALTH AND SAFETY

Responsibilities of Event Organiser:

Health and safety should be your number one priority.

  • Ensure you and your attendees know where the fire exits are
  • Ensure that you and your attendees know where the fire extinguishers are
  • Ensure you are aware of any attendees at your event with mobility limitations
  • Everyone has a responsibility for safety – ensure no one takes risks as part of your event
